jamiz1969
Making Handmade Jewelry is how I started my business. I mainly use Fire Mountain Gems but you should try to google mangnetic clasp and take a look through the different sites to see what's available and about where the best prices are. Keep in mind cheapest cost isn't always the best though. I've never had any issues with FMGs. I was impressed since I received my first order atleast 5 years ago, probably longer, and continue to buy most supplies I need through them. Their orders usually ship within 3 days too unless it's around christmas time. Hope that helps.Jamie
diamondk
All I want to do is to replace the clasp on a couple necklaces and a bracelet with the magnetic clasps since I don't have anyone to help put these on me. Thanks for the replies.
TexasBrat
I just bought some at Hobby Lobby last week to replace my dd's necklace. I'm paranoid about her wearing necklaces to school, the whole potentially choking thing so I put a magnetic clasp on one for her. I bet Michaels and Joannes carry them too. Late Night
I just got a catalog from Fire Mountain, yesterday, and they had a whole page of magnetic clasps.
diamondk
Thanks again for the replies but I only need a couple and right now it isn't worth the shipping cost so I will see if I can find them locally.

CareBear
that is a fabulous idea! My daughter is almost 5 and is a beauty queen (she thinks) and is always wearing jewelry (often mine ). I'd feel better if she had a "quick release"
