cjackson35 Posted January 4, 2007 Author Share Posted January 4, 2007 I use wax from hobby lobby, it just says parafin wax, low melting temp, low oil content. I use 1 oz fo to 1 lb wax. Fern Posted January 4, 2007 Share Posted January 4, 2007 You probably need to add some stearic or vybar to your wax. Straight paraffin alone won't hold much oil. Try adding about 3 tablespoons of stearic to 1 lb of wax or 1 - 1.5 teaspoons of vybar pp of wax...I bet that will solve your problem.
