Sag_77
I ran across this thread but it is under soapmaking and I want the candlemakers opinion. I want to know if this program would work just as good for candlemaking other than the use of the recipe calculator. http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28070Other questions would be if anyone has converted it to candlemaking what did they have to change and was it accurate. Also if it didn't do the job is there one out there for a candlemaker. TIA
Candle Man
I don't know anything about that program but here is one they say is for a candle business. I have not tried it, so I can't help you with this program either. http://www.craftingsoftware.com/candle-making.htm

You can download a free trial for 30 days. Why not try it out and see what you think?
Sag_77
I have actually given both a try and I much prefer the first one it is more user friendly and it covers everything. I still haven't made my final decision yet but I am leaning toward the Craft Business Management one.
Misty
I use the soapmaker program for soapmaking and candlemaking. It works great for both.

justrightcandles
Has anyone else tried the Craft business management system? I am just playing around with the trial version but it seems really neat. i just wanted to make sure someone else is using it before i try it too. $200 is a lot of money. Sag_77
I much preferred the craft business management system one as it can be used for almost any business type. You get to set everything up the way you want. There are more options for each item and it keeps track of more information. I like the fact that all aspects of the business can be tracked with one program.
