NancyJo
Ok, one of my projects for 2007 is to start selling pillars. I have been playing around with them to get the feel of pouring but now I am looking to get serious.I think my basic question is when do you feel comfortable selling them? Do you test X number of them and then feel comfortable? I think I am more concerned about pillars being a free standing candle as opposed to a container.I am not sure if I am asking this question correctly but I would appreciate any advice you guys can offer! Thanks
Scented
When you feel confident that you have a good, safe product ... just like in selling containers And to get there means to test, test, test and test, test, test some more and then test, test, test again. candleran
I agree that safety and quality are very important! How about giving a few to friends and family and asking for their opinion about the scent, looks, burn time, etc.Eran
Candle Man
I agree that safety and quality are very important! How about giving a few to friends and family and asking for their opinion about the scent, looks, burn time, etc.EranThat is if they burn them correctly, then you would have an accurate test. But then again I guess you would get a test burn of how customers would burn them.
candleran
It's not instead of you testing your candles. It's getting customers' opinions as well.
