silverm00n
How on earth do you keep the shroom out of the wax when using these?
Alohagirl
I can't keep the shroom out either. Usually it falls off, and I use the wick dipper to scoop it out.
Ring of Fire
You can't, otherwise how would the flame go out. Usually nothing falls into the melt pool, but if it does, just scoop it out like alohagirl said.
Candle Man
I have good luck with dipping the wick dipper into the melted wax pool then touching the 'shroom. Usually the 'shroom sticks to the wick dipper. If that doesn't work, you could get a wick trimmer from Clean Cut they cut to 1/4" and trap all trimmings.http://www.cleancut.com/Products/WickTrimmer.aspx
Crafty1_AJ
I use the crook of the w.d. to "harvest" the little boogers before I extinguish. Just gently place the wick dipper tip against the wick right under the mushroom. Gently and carefully lift straight up. Almost always this works; the carbon bead sticks to the wick dipper and I smack the handle on the edge of the trash can and watch it fly off. Or I grab it off with a paper towel. Then I extinguish the flame. No 'shroom in melt pool!
