Candle Makin Momma
LOL I asked about how to make diagonal stripes and this is what I ended up with! Horrible! Eneven layers and frosting cuz I poured one layer too fast.Ah well, I ended up with some cute tarts to give for Christmas. Sorry they are so big. I tried resizing them

pebby01
i think that looks good! when i made mine, a lot of the layers were uneven. i just put the molds in a loaf pan to support it on its side, and i tried to keep them as still as possible when i poured the layers. i also made really thick layers the first few times i tried it, but i got used to pouring them thin. great job! geekrunner
I don't think that little jj looks bad at all! I tied once for a similar look on a pillar candle, where I changed the tilt angle slightly on each layer. The tarts look like you could just pop 'em in your mouth!geek

gingerinarkansas
I think they all look great. You have to keep in mind that these are hand- crafted candles and a lot of times, no two are alike. The candle reminds me of a candy cane.
