Scented
I wish I could post pics, but the digital in broke.Ummm after the description, thank God it's broken lol! That's really strange that it wouldn't thicken. Then again, I had one of those problems and probably a second entry into the ugly swap lol. blacktortoise
I was thinking that maybe you had too much water in the recipe? Can you repost the recipe with water. lye, and FO amounts? If it hardened and gave no zap, it should still be okay to use even though it may be ugly:)
elitenaildesign
It never did set up. I am guessing the water was too much. I used the soapcalc, but like the sage better for calcs. Its long gone to the city dump.
Sarah
was it a small or large recipe? that will make a difference in the amount of time it takes to trace. and i use soapcalc with no problems.so how did it turn out, did it harden up for you? if so i never worry about the appearance, i just have another batch that i have to keep for myself or give away. i hope you didn't have to toss a whole batch of soap. CareBear
When I had a soft batch I considered whipping it in my KA and trying to make it a whipped soap or cream soap, but never got around to it and eventually tossed it. Anyone ever try that?
elitenaildesign
No, of coarse I did not think of that.
