A few years ago, I ordered a scent called Fall Woods. My sister still has one of the candles I made with it and asked if I could make her some more. I can't remember where I got it, and I haven't been able to find anything like it. It does smell like 'fall woods'... it makes me think of leaves? It's a good scent, though. Any ideas where I can find it or something similar?

hmm I wonder if it was just a bad bunch? I can't even say it was a fluke since I just recently started doing lip balms again, and have had three people say they had it happen.

Thank you Rae. Unfortunately WSP is the one company that I won't order from. (I had a really bad experience with them a couple years ago) Does anyone use the tubes from Bitter Creek or SKS?

No, I want them to twist up - just not on their own. I've had some complaints about them twisting up when people carry them in their pocket.

Does anyone know where I can get natural lip balm tubes that don't twist up? I know they exist, I never used to have this problem, but I haven't done lip balms in a couple years and I can't remember where I used to order from.. The ones I am having trouble with are from MMS - I've had a few people tell me that this happened to them, and I'm going to email MMS about it today. I still have one of the older tubes that worked good, and they do look different, I just wish I knew where I ordered them from - they are not as clear as the ones from MMS, and the cap is a little different, too - not as rounded. Any ideas? (oh and Hi! I don't know if anyone remembers me, I haven't been around here in a while)

I've had similar problems with WSP. It's not so much that the problem happened, more the attitude that I encountered when I asked them to fix it. I used to live in Washington, but then moved back to Michigan. I placed an order and they shipped my order to Washington, and wanted me to pay all the extra shipping. They tried to tell me that I entered the wrong address. Right. Because I don't know where I live. That was a couple years ago, and I won't order from them any more.

is it still cold? i dont know much about lotion, but you could try putting the whole bottle in warm water and see if that helps. after it warms up a little, stir it up a little and see how it looks.

i know a lot of people who use (and like) dr. bronners liquid soap for their dishes, so i'm sure it would work fine.

i honestly don't know what aveda's smells like, but i have an aveda type rosemary mint from oregon trails that smells really good.

just wondering if any of you might know of a good supplier for the clear push up tubes? i really only need a dozen or so to start and am finding them to be a bit expensive everywhere i've looked.

well, they have definately gone out of their way to fix the problem. i know it's a busy time, but it had also been quite a while since i ordered from them so i was wondering what everyone's experiences with them have been lately. all is good now, they are sending the correct item 2nd day shipping free of charge.

just wondering because i am right now and i never have before. they sent me a wrong item and i've sent them the same email three times now trying to get them to send me the right item in time for christmas, and it doesn't look like it's going to happen :undecided. i started emailing them this weekend and expected to hear back from them first thing monday. had to email again on tuesday... they apparently never got the first email i sent, replied to the 2nd asking what i needed, i didn't hear back so emailed them again after a day and a half and they said they never got my email. it's just a mess and i'm not impressed. but i've never had any problems before this, so maybe i'll just mark this one up as holiday craziness on their part. still i have to say i'm disappointed at the moment.

i was wondering if anyone has any information or links concerning the safety of soaping while pregnant? i'm wondering about the lye and the fragrance oils and can't find much information.

was it a small or large recipe? that will make a difference in the amount of time it takes to trace. and i use soapcalc with no problems. so how did it turn out, did it harden up for you? if so i never worry about the appearance, i just have another batch that i have to keep for myself or give away. i hope you didn't have to toss a whole batch of soap.

the cinnamon is STRONG. and i remember it as a red hot cinnamon.

i've never noticed a pine smell, and this one has been one of my best sellers at christmas time for the past two years.
