soycrazy
Has anyone ever tried putting the tiny glass beads they use for scrapbooking in soy wax? I bought a bunch of them and was thinking of trying it.
ChrisR
Not a good idea to put anything flammable or that could possibly explode if it gets too hot in any candle..........and glass beads would definately fall in those categories. It could be a great liability insurance disaster.........and you do have insurance in place I would hope!!
soycrazy
I don't sell candles I just make them as gifts and I don't put wicks in them either, because I have pets. Just warmers here:smiley2: I will skip the glass beads then I thought that would be ok since I've seen candles with sea glass and glitter in it. Thanks for the help:smiley2:
ChrisR
You didn't say you don't burn them.....in that situation, you'd probably be safe if it's just a warmer, but you may want to test one yourself and see what happens.
soycrazy
I'll try it then, I'm sure they will sink though after I put it on the warmer lol.
ChrisR
Oh I'm sure after it totally melts you will have a nice little pile on the bottom of your container LOL!! Have fun!!
Sharon in KY
They will not burn and they will sink to the bottom of your melt pool. Try them you might not even like the look but I'm sure you will.
