Trinilady
My hobby is Cake decorating http://www.hmcakes.com and I'm interested in selling candles as well. Candles to decorate the table. However I don't have any molds and would like to get some. Especially round ones of varying sizes.Does anyone have extras that they are willing to sell me? Stella1952
Trinilady, have you checked eBay UK for candle molds? I think you will find a LOT that will suit your fancy and pocketbook as well as complimenting your beautiful wedding cakes.
prcandles
After looking at all your cakes, the first wedding cake picture of yours reminded me of my sister. She too started out with just a few cakes here and there, then a few more... and before you know it, she was off and running. Then along came my last nephew and there went that. The cakes are really beautiful and I hope you find someone here to help in your quest for candles. The people here are very talented.:highfive:
pdevine
I make the wedding cake candles and I use the regular cake pans, just be sure and spray them before pouring into them. You have some beautiful looking cakes. HTH Portia

Trinilady
Thank you. I love doing cakes.I've been thinking about the cake candles. I saw a 3 tier cake candle, made from a mold once. That mold would be perfect!!But souffle dishes would work for the bottom tier. Now to find something for the others. My tutor told us about using PVC piping, but I still have to figure how to seal on end properly.I'll experiment!!
