I am almost out of 50/50 and I have left over pillars I have melted down for electric candles and I bought some really cute christmas containers today from Michaels and I was going to put the pillar wax into those and b4 I did, just wondering how that would work??? SSR Candles Posted November 30, 2006 Share Posted November 30, 2006 Technically speaking, it could be done, but you'd need bigger wicks due to the higher melt temps, and it would fall out if turned the wrong way. Kassandra Posted December 1, 2006 Share Posted December 1, 2006 First ,let me say that I have never tried this before and I do not know if it is safe, but I have read where one may add 30% petro (vaseline) or crisco to make a one pour container wax.
