Sherl
Do you have them pay you all then write them a check for their part, or do they just write you a check for your percentage? Also, do these require a 1099 if they sell enough?
Trae
I usually work it that all checks are made payable to the organziation, then they cut me a check less their percentage. I just did a fundraiser where all checks came to me, then I wrote them a check for their percentage, but that was a real PITA.
Barb_513
I am an admin for my daughters soccer team and we always get the checks wrote to us then cut a check to the fundraiser company less our percentage. We have never gotten a 1099!!! I have had several places give me a freebie for setting up the fundraiser and that is ALWAYS nice. Those are the fundraisers I set up first
