I was out of my regular soy so, I got soy from a local company. I made an 8oz. candle 7.25oz. soy with 3/4oz. fo,christmas splendor. heated to 175 and added fo at 175. good smell is good, but burning it is another thing. It stinks. I made it 11-2-06. I'm burning another one with her soy and it stinks also. I made that one 10-28-06. why do they stink?

Depends on the oil, but I use anywhere between 6-9% in soy and about 7 oz. of wax in that size jar. I also use CD or Hemp wicks in soy...I have had the issue with candles smelling burnt, and it is usually an issue of overwicking, no matter what series wick you use, try wicking down if the issue continues..
