maryann
I decided to buy this and can not get them to be bright. In the picture attached I have painted approx 6 layers on this soap and its still translucent . Does anyone have any suggestions or experience w/ this paint that they could give me??TIA
Meridith
I had the same problems with these paints. I think it is just the nature of them. I wasn't impressed with them at all.
Peachdream
I also bought these to paint balls on my xmas tree MP soaps. I gave up using them on the green and red trees for the exact same reason. They only came out bright on a light base like on my white or yellow trees. :undecided
maryann
This pic really doesn't show the real colors as my lighting was bad. The soap is alot lighter and so is the paint colors. I was wondering if anything could be mixed with them? Another $30 down the drain as I bought both sets that are offered (primary colors and the metalics). Meridith
I bought both sets too. I think you just really need to keep adding layers of the paint to get a better color. DH now does the painting. I lost my patience with it since it took too long to get a darker color and it still wasn't what I wanted.
TexasBrat
Could you add a tiny amount of Titanium Dioxide, clay or other colorant to the MW paints? Just a thought. I lightened your pic.
Bunny
I've never used them, but might it be easier to paint the inside of the mold first, then fill it with soap? Maybe put them in 1/2 oz dropper bottles so you could lay it in thick? Just wondering out loud here, don't shoot!
