I have never had a soap to do that and was not sure if I can just chunk it up, its a regular recipe that I love that has goat milk and oatmeal in it, it has never done this before and I have made it a dozen times.What it did is when I cut it it had a large hole in the middle that a bunch of goo came out of :embarasse Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CareBear Posted November 10, 2006 Share Posted November 10, 2006 Oh, goo. I thought there was some dark stuff in it, but I guess that was just the hole. It probably overheated. That happens. Either that or it didn't reach true trace (hard to tell sometimes with additives). If you saved all the liquid you can rebatch with that, but if it was lye, and is now gone, you will be short on lye and I don't know how to handle that. I chunked it up and put it in the microwave and rebatched. It turned out awesome!! On another note, did you use to be "Freedom" ...
