countrycandles
How do you make carpet freshener? I was thinking that I remember someone mentioning that you use borax.
Sharon in PA
We used Arm&Hammer, Baking Soda, but I don't remember how much FO we added to how much BS...
WYJen
I use borax or arm and hammer washing soda. I don't have a scientific way of doing it- I just dump FO in until it smells good! LOL I tried baking soda but the consistensy of it wasn't as nice as the borax or washing soda and was much harder to get out of the shaker. sudsy
I just use baking soda and FO. No measuring, just add FO until I like it.
ladysj
I use the borax and just add FO to taste. The borax vacuums up easier than the baking soda IMO.

Funky Monkey
You'll be able to smell it the next few times you run the vac too! I still smell vanilla when hubby runs ours.
countrycandles
Does the borax smell not over power the fragrance. I just made some apple cinnamon and to me it smells like maybe I smell more borax. I guess I need to add more fragrance. Also, how exactly do you all mix yours? In a ziplock back or a bowl. And how long do you let it dry before using it?
LynnS
WOW that is alot of FO for a cup.I am sure it was STRONG.I forget how much you do add but like most say they do it as strong or as light as they prefer.Really your 2 ounces of FO is way to much.
