CountryGal
Those look really nice, but I don't understand....are those real candies in there? and you put the fuel stuff on top of them?
PaulaR
Yes they are real starlight mints with some beads added to them , they are in the liquid wax for hurricane lamps. Then you add the fiberglass wicking to them , you cant scent them but they are pretty. Just something new to try.

ashncandles
Oh I love those!! What will the wrappers do tho when you burn the candle? Or they're just for decor? They're so pretty I'd probably never light them anyway!
Carriegsxr6
It looks like the candy will never get touched by the flame, the oil will absorb up through the wick and burn only on top of the lid. Is this correct?
PaulaR
You are right , the wrappers are off of the candy, and the flame never touches inside the jar, there is a glass tube that the wicking goes inside of all you ever have to do is replace the oil in the candles. I like the ones just filled with dried flowers too. ideas are endless Paula
laura8034
Just make sure you put specific warning lables on them. Like not to pull the wick out too far, I know a lady who made them for christmas for friends and one friend pulled the wick out to about an inch and ended up redecorating her kitchen. Otherwise I think they are beautiful.
