blueisland Posted October 9, 2006 Share Posted October 9, 2006 Hi Everyone ,Haven't been here in awhile and still very NEW and all this!! What do all you who use soy bases use for your lotion?? Does anyone use the one from Soy Wholesale? Maybe this is really stupid but is that really better because it says soy lipids for $32.00 a gal? or is the other bases for 14.95 a gal still just as good?? But, she gave me some MillCreek's soy hand & body lotion base (http://www.mcsoywax.com/Bath%20&%20Body.htm) to try and it is absolutely wonderful! My mom, who is the PICKIEST person about lotions, fell in love with this base after i sent her a test bottle. One thing, when I first start buying it, it was pretty thick, but absorbed quickly into the skin w/o feeling greasy. Then, I think they changed the formulation, because i got two gallons that were kind of runny (especially after adding FO), then I heard that they changed it back to the orginal formula, but I havent gotten any in awhile so i dont know for sure. Also,this is just my observation, I recently went to BB&W and got a small bottle of their Exotic Coconut lotion. Kept it on my nightstand to use before bedtime. I had been using the soy lotion before. WOW!!! What a difference! I used to LOVE BB&W stuff, but the texture of their lotion did NOTHING for my skin compared to the soy lotion.
