Ilona
I am using Ecosoya Pure Soy and after numerous weak hot throws at 8% FO mixing FO at 180, 170 ish, I tried mixing the FO at 140. It seemed to work, but I am curious, what temp do you mix you FO at?
iammommytwo
Greetings Ilona,I would heat to at least 165 and add FO then ( after color, if you do so). Then stir, stir and pour when slushy. You should get great throw w/8 - 9% FO w/this wax. If not, it may be the FO itself. Not all of them work well w/all soy waxes.HTHSheri
Joeysgirl
I mix in the oil probably at 165 too then wait and pour at 135 and that seems to work for me. I am trying a new soy tonight C3 and I hope that same formula will work for that as well
Casey
I add @ 175 or higher and pour @120 or lower
Dana
I add the f/o at 175, pour at 135 and that seems to work. Although, the directions say to add the f/o right before you pour. I was always afraid that was to cool a temp and that it wouldn't bind with the wax. ~Dana
