jenkindred
i have a crazy question. my mom uses a candle warmer thingy instead of lighting the candles. she has a lot of candles with the wax all there but the smell is gone. she wants me to just use the old wax and just add the FO. will this work? or should i just use new wax? leisa2003
Hi, Yes... That will work fine as long as its the same fragrance. I do this all the time. Leisa
jenkindred
thanks..but why does it matter if it's the same fragrance since the smell is all gone?
AngelaVA
I sell wickless candles, but do not "refresh" them. Wax can only hold so much oil and you add that oil when you first make the candle. When the scent is gone from the candle, that oil is still in the wax and you can't add more oil later. So bottom line is that I don't believe in refreshing candles that have been used on a warmer.
scntdwik
I have been re-adding f/o to my wickless candles that I have for personal use for better than a year now and it works just fine....I think your fine in doing this for your Mom. bugtussle
I agree with Angela, you're going to end up with too much oil in the wax and it is going to ignite. I would not do it!
jenkindred
ok...thanks for all the advice...i've decided not to reuse the wax!
