thinking ahead!

Recommended Posts

Well, it's that time of year again, and this time I'm thinking ahead (for once!) However, I am having a hard time finding pumpkin candle containers!!! I had a source at one time and now they don't seem to carry them anymore. Anybody out there know a good place I can get some, preferably on the West Coast?

You might check out genwax

http://candles.genwax.com/

http://www.odove.com/genwax/html/product_list.htm they might have something.

I do know Candles & Supplies have them http://shop.candlesandsupplies.com/candles/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=Candles&category%5Fname=Halloween&product%5Fid=PK%2D01

BUT...From the reviews, on here about them, I don't know if I would shop with them. They have high shipping & poor customer service.

I didn't see the pumpkins at Gen Wax, but they certainly do have some beautiful jars that I will keep in mind for the future. I'll give the other joint a try and see if they will redeem themselves!

Thanks again!

Candles and supplies marketed there pumpkins as 14 oz last year. Guess what.... the ones I got in my box were only 10oz from them. Total BS!

I personally get them now from big lots. $1.29 each.... and they come with the eyes painted and the witch hats.

If you call around they will get them in for you.

Mama, I got my pumpkin jars here http://www.keystonecandlesupply.com/catalog.php?category=5 last yr. Customers loved the cute little hats. Worked out OK for me. It's a PA company so shipping may be a problem for you. I know several ppl have complained about C&S but I have to say I've never had any of the problems others have complained about. But then I don't order a lot from them. I do call in most of my orders so I can confirm availability and shipping costs.

Thanks so much for all the input! I tried ordering from C and S but the shipping would have cost almost as much as the jars!!! It's good to know about the size issue, as well.

I will continue my quest...

hot mama

I am doing I guess you could call it a co-op, it is in the co-op section.

Anything Anchor Hocking, I can email you the catalog if you like, just PM me your email addy.

Anyway, they have a 18oz jack o lantern jar, like the one from Candle supply

it is packed 36 and are $1.01 each plus what it cost for shipping to me and you. If you want a lid for it, they have a bubble type lid that has a nobbie on top that makes it look jack o lantern looking, it also has a fitment in it too. They are also packed 36 @ .83 cents each

So the jars would be 36.36

Lids would be $29.88

All plus shipping to me and me to you, I am in Las Vegas Nevada.

There is no hostess fee for this, I am already getting stuff and just wanted to let everyone, especially west coast people have the chance to get stuff from them being their minimum order is 25 cases.

If you are interested, you pre-pay me for the jars via credit card or instant transfer on paypal. Then when they arrive and I get the ship charges, I send you an invoice for those charges too. You pay those and we ship it to you.

Last day is This Saturday to order!
