candlemom
A friend of mine emailed me about a candle that him and his wife had bought some time ago. I have searched and searched and have come up empty. I am unsure of the type of wax used. This is directly from his email:We bought one in Colorado Springs that put of little heat and no black stuff. It was odorless and no noxious fumes. They said that they were the only ones in the area. I have never ran across them since. They have a cd disc under them and glittery stuff in them. So when the wick is lit they shine rainbows every where. They are awesome.Has anyone seen these or does any here make them? I am interested in seeing what they look like. Thanks,Theresa
Lorrie
Hmm I have never heard of a candle like that. I would love to see a picture.
Karen B
Is it maybe those gemstone type candles. What I'm thinking of looks like this.http://www.wicksworks.com/gemstone-candle.htmlI hope I put that link in right, it should be a gel pillar in a gemstone kind of shape with a mirror under it to help reflect the light. Grumpy Girl
If that's what I think it is... Candlewic (I think) sells a clear technology wax that I think is similar. It is spendy though from what I remember and looks too picky to work with. It is neat though.
