Brandyanne
Thanks ! I did buy the quick oats and they worked fine!
Michi
colloidal oatmeal is just ground oats. I've used the old fashion oats, quick oats and the microwave pkgs. and just ground them in my coffee grinder and can't tell any difference between any of them in the finished product. They all work just fine!!
Carlena
Ok, I have a question ladies - I make MP also & what does the oatmeal do & why is it added? Sorry for being 'stupid'~Carlena~
lavender
Oatmeal is used for it's "scrubbie" texture. It's great used in a kitchen soap and the baby oatmeal combined with a soothing scent like lavender makes a divine bath soap.Blessings,Lisa
Brandyanne
I guess I did know that the oatmeal would add a scruuby texture to the soap but I actually added it to mine so it looked more Cp than M&P.
Laura
awesome! i personally like the versatility of using these because i can grind them to my preference, and use some slightly ground on top of my logs.
