hfitz5051
To make a pillar candle? I got a kit and really want to do one, but I need to wait until the kids are in bed. I don't want to be up too late, so I'm wondering about how long it will take.
ladysj
Depends on how much detail you want to it. If you're just doing a straight pillar with no layers or anything it shouldn't take no more than an hour and 1/2 total from melting, to preparing mold to pouring. Waiting for it to set up is what takes the longest HTH
hfitz5051
I'm just making one from the kit. I have to add dye and fragrance, but that is it. How long until you re-pour? Or is it ok to do that the next day?
Scented
I'd tell you it would take maybe 2 to 2 1/2 hours to finish the candle ... meaning repour. Longer if more than one repour. Talking straight color, no effects type of pillar.
hfitz5051
I can probably squeeze that in tonight then. Maybe I can get my hubby to put the kids in bed. lol
Scented
Oh and size makes a big difference in time. Yeah you should be able to get one done tonight.
