MichelleOH
Generally it's 1oz per LB of wax:smiley2:

Everito Bandito
Dollarwise, yes it can seem like a lot :smiley2:. However, 1 oz per lb is right at 6% and as Michelle said it is the general rule. Check the specification on your wax to see what it will hold. It's generally stated as a range ie: 5 - 8 % something like that because wax is like a sponge (it will only effectively hold so much) and different scents have different oils in them, some are lighter, some heavier. Also, different waxes have different additives and other different properties, so the scent load capacity will be different as well. 1 ounce per lb. will not be too much in the majority of waxes. If you have a strong throwing scent, you might want to use a bit less, after all, it's not cheap. If you aren't getting a good scent throw you may want to add more than 1 oz. Check the specs. on your wax first to see what the recommendations are on it.Oh yes, and have fun, too. ladysj
1 ounce per pound works very well for me in most cases and waxes.
