OutlandishLady
Soaped my beloved Be Delicious, looked gorgeous & popped it in the oven (no heat) to gel away. Just checked on it and holy crap. It looks like a bubbling oil slick. I jiggled the mold and it just looks like the upper part is almost all liquid, and there are little bubbles. Is this a definite re-batch candidate or should I hold out hope that it might be OK in the end?!? Sigh... it smells sooooo good...... Grumpy Girl
Bummer... sounds like it separated. Having not had this happen to me yet, I guess you could toss it all in the crockpot and HP it back to health.
OutlandishLady
I may have to do that. I looked at the HP tutorial so hopefully that won't be too hard for my sad self. It was sooo pretty and now it's a purple slimey mess. Ah well. This will give me a chance to use my Wal-Mart divider mold...
SheilaW
Bummer... sounds like it separated. Having not had this happen to me yet, I guess you could toss it all in the crockpot and HP it back to health. That would be my suggestion also. I had that happen to one batch and it came out ok after cooking in the crock. Sure hope it wasn't the fo because I wanted to soap that one. OutlandishLady
K, it's in the crockpot, but since it already seperated do I have to wait for it to seperate again?Don't think it was the FO, 99% sure it was user error
