MsDammit
It finally happened, I had a batch trace so fast I had to dump it in the mold real fast-was real fugly so I tried to rebatch. I did this Sunday and just checked it tonight, and its still really really soft, kinda like playdoh. Is this normal or did I goof? I hope it hardens up cuz it smells so good.:embarasse
jwahlton
Did you add liquid? With it being so fresh you probably didn't need additional liquid.
MsDammit
Yup, it was a 3 lb batch and I added about a cup of water.
Scent Cellar
I normally have to add only a few tablespoons of water or milk when I am rebatching a fresh batch.
jwahlton
Yup, it was a 3 lb batch and I added about a cup of water.I don't think it's going to firm up. If it's an older batch that size I usually only add a couple TBSP of liquid.

eugenia
You never know. It may harden up some day.
MsDammit
That would be great if it did harden up- either way it's a great air freshener for my living room, lol.
