idacandlelady
I am just wondering what the benefits are to adding beeswax to pure soy wax?
caradelrae
From what i have read it helps to increase the hardness and burntime.HTHCara
Kaybee23
It helps smooth out the tops, helps scent throw, and what Cara said. Use it sparingly between 2-5%. You will have to test to see which percentage works for you. If you go with beeswax and decide on your percentage, you will probably want to go down 1% in the winter months. idacandlelady
Does anyone know, Will it help the frosting in 100% soy?
Kaybee23
It won't eliminate it, but it does help some.
idacandlelady
I've tried Frostop and it does nothing! So I'm trying to find something to help.
daniedb
In my experience, while additives like Frostop, b/w, Univ. Soy Additive, can decrease frosting, there's really nothing foolproof that can eliminate it totally. Frost happens, LOL! It's mostly due to rapid changes in temperature, whether during cooling or storage, and it's almost completely unavoidable, unless you pour perfectly and then sell them immediately. Another reason why I don't color my candles.
