ladysj
Can you use gel to make tealights and votives in containers for the forever candles?
Fern-Marie
Yes.I did when I made it years ago. I made lots of votives.I even saw 'tarts' this Christmas. A neighbor got them as a gift. Didn't like them.

Luci
I don't know if this is what you're talking about, but when I made a huge fruit salad candle, I put a votive cup in the center the same heigth as my compote dish and filled it with scented gel. It was for a donation to my ladies aux group, and I had over $20 of wax fruit embeds around it. I couldn't see burning all that up! Besides, it was pretty. So, I just covered the embeds with low density scented gel and filled the votive with high density scented gel. The embeds were scented, too. Boy, did it smell gooooood!!! I wish I had taken a pic. Everyone loved it!
ladysj
Sounds wonderful I would love to have seen a pic of it. I'm going to try to start experimenting with the forever candles hopefully the first of next month.
