I had a suspicion something was wrong but it took me a while to get around to double checking. You are referring to your additive as Fischer Tropsch but I believe you are in fact using Paraflint. Translucent Crystals are Paraflint and Clear Crystals are F-T wax. If you were using F-T you would not be able to get any mottle at all.Edited to say: Well, drastically less mottle anyway. Need someone to test 3 T of stearic p.p. of wax, no vybar at 1oz FO pp., 180 degree pour. Testing for mottle, sweat and bulge. eAs I've posted elsewhere, just a word of caution ... it's been my experience that too much stearic (5% for sure) will inhibit mottling. Just a heads up.
