bugsb1
I can't seem to remember the name but does anyone know or have a suggestion for making votives shine. seems all of mine want to turn out pretty dull and unatractive. My hands are too big to buff these little things with a nylon. I'm ready to cheat. Any help or suggestions..Thanks
grandmaskitchen
Could it be a wax additive called lustre crystals? I found some on CandleChem's website if you're interested. http://www.candlechem.com/additives.htmYou only need 1 tsp. per two pounds of wax and it's not very expensive. Hope this helps. Wendy Shoofitz
What wax and dye are you using? You shouldn't have to buff the votives to have a nice color.
Candlelovr
Yeah, what wax are you using? I was using 6228 before it was discontinued and my votives always came out shiney.
