Recommended Posts

I am looking for anyone who has a "wedding cake" candle mold that is 4in or larger....who is will to loan this to me for about 2 weeks....maybe not even that long.

I have 20 cake candles I need to make ASAP! They are going to be for my sisters in laws wedding center pieces.

I had ordered the actually candles from someone....honestly I didnt/dont have time to do these myself...but I order them on May 16th....just got a message today that she's sick and hasnt done any of them...going to refund my money asap.....now I am in a pickle and have to get them done Super Fast!!!! I'm a little p'ed off right now that it took this person over 2 weeks to just come out and say she didnt want to or couldnt do them for me.

If anyone out there makes the wedding cake candles that are atleast 4in....I had ordered 5in ones....(tall and wide)...can scent 10 in vanilla....10 in frosted cupcake or something close, can do a off white...no other colors at all.... and is will to make them...ship them (21639) all for $200-$230....can have them to me by Jun 9th...PLEASE let me know!!!!!

Or if someone is SO kind hearted to loan me a mold...I am willing to loan you any mold I have...I'll pay for all shipping....for both!

I tried to order a mold though most places will take them a week to even ship it....

Please email me if you can help!!!!

Thanks, Jen

Another thing - who do you really think will loan one of their molds to someone they don't know? I mean honestly, molds aren't cheap and who is to say you won't return it or send on in return -I'm not saying that you won't but who can guarantee that you will, KWIM? I think that you are asking alot - especially for someone with only 1 post, no trade/sales transactions and not well known around here. Sorry, but I think you are asking alot and should just buck up and buy your own molds.

June 9th is friday. JMO but perhaps your sister in law would be better off just buying the centerpeices from a store rather than you trying to get a mold, perfect the wicking/wax combo and create something beautiful in less than 7 days.

I have it all taken care of.... I was STRESSING big time yesterday!

Meridith: Hi...I'm Jen from Pixie's Candles....nice to meet you!

Thank you for your reply...I totally understand your concerns...I haven't posted on here as much as I guess I could/should...but a few of my candle making buddies and their friends do.

I didn't want to buy a mold to use just this one time and not again....your right they arent cheap...the mold I was looking at was $50 plus over night shipping would have been CRAZY!...most mold makers I contacted Friday had to make the mold....it had to set up and could ship it out on Monday....I was hoping someone would swap me molds and could ship on Friday....(which she and I did)......if it was a mini size mold sure I would have bought one.....

I'm sorry that I havent posted on here...though I will say I have gotten some great advise on here!

Thanks again for all your replies on here and through me email address....you guys are the greatest!
