hawaiiansun Posted May 15, 2006 Share Posted May 15, 2006 Stupid me made a 3 lb batch I was so proud then I peeked and it looked weird and I remembered I forgot my 15% crisco I don't know whether to laugh or cry.Ok what can I do to save this puppy or do I just dump this shi^ out?I don't know crap about rebatching, at this point I don't know much about anything LMAOAny help will do. Carrie Posted May 15, 2006 Share Posted May 15, 2006 You could rebatch it and add the missing crisco or you could chuck it and try again. I think those are your only two options. I rebatched twice. sudsnwicks Posted May 15, 2006 Share Posted May 15, 2006 I'd be upset to have to dump out 3 lbs of precious soap. Rebatching isn't hard, your soap may not look as nice but it'll work just as good. An easy way to make sure you haven't forgotten to add anything is to weigh the ingredients after everything has been added to see if the amount adds up to the sum of your ingredient weights.
