Jorie
I made these friday using Bunny's formulation. They are scented true rose. They came out a bit grainy feeling but I think that was because a bit more baking soda got into the bowl then was needed. I now have two questions. Do these need to cure and if I wanted to tweak this how do I determine the amount of something when it is not an oil? I figure I can do a 1 to 1 replacement of the cocoa powder for milk powder but Im not sure about the oatmeal or honey that I also wanted to try. heirloomoriginals
Those look nice!!! As far as subbing, you could just leave the cocoa out (I think many of us have done that with this recipe). Although, it might be nice with the milk powder in it. NOt sure about the oatmeal and honey. Maybe you should just use the FO instead??? maybe somebody will pop in with some info on that.Steph
