I totally agree..the Tropical Fusion is to die for...its wonderful!!! And the Pear Vanilla is definatly yummy. I have not put these in soap, only wax but so far they are great oils. I plan on putting the Sea Salt Scrub in CP soap soon..cant wait to see how it comes out. The Vanilla Sugar is one of the strongest I have smelled from any supplier as of yet. And the Maple is dead on. I could go on and on..lol I will be posting my reviews once they are all tested in wax...definatly check out the site.;)

Here's a few that I have CPed.

100% Goat milk. No color added. 10% liquid discount.

Blackberry Sage is a great FO. I really like this one.. a bit subtle when first soaped. However, it is coming back nicely.

Lilac-Soaped like a breeze. No Accelleration at all.

Sea Salt-is a bit difficult, but the scent is so worth it. It did seize on me, however, I wanna try it again with full liquid.

Patchouli-CPed great. Not a bad FO.. but i much prefer the EO.

Green Tea & Rose-NO A. Smells awesome.. I love this FO.

ETA: PUMKPIN CORNBREAD! Absolutely delicious in CP... OOB it smells of spices. The cornbread part comes out in the soap.

My notes thus far on the FOs that I have tested to this point:

All soaped with 10% liquid Discount.

All are 100% Goat Milk CP Soaps

Added FO to warmed oils prior to Lye milk.

FO: 1oz per pound of SOAP.

With the exception of the Patchouli. I only had .8oz of it.

No color added to any. I don't do that when i test.. Can't figure out why anyone would, but that's just me!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blackberry Sage
Scent is awesome in this. A bit lite during cure, but is coming back nicely.
It is blended very well with one not overpowering the other.
You have plenty of playtime with this.. could do a 3 or 4 color if you wanted to dependent of course on your recipe.
~~~~~

Green Tea & Rose

I love this scent. One doesn't over power the other.

OOB: light rose no sweetness slight tea scent

Behaves beautifully. Would have time for a 2 color swirl dependent on recipe.

~~~~~
Pumpkin Cornbread
Is to die for!
OOB: Smells spicy, som pumpkin. Cannot detect cornbread.
In soap, more cornbread scent coming thru. It does discolor.
It will heat up in the mold and start to gel.
However, that may be because of the milk.
You could do a swirl with this, but use full liquid.
Also, with a high liquid discount, it may trace quick for ya!
~~~~~

Indian Summer

OOB: Smells alot like Mayan Gold. Nice autumn scent. Not any one scent stands out. Nice blend.

~~~~~
Merlot
Does A a bit. You should use full liquid dependent on your recipe.
It is swirlable though.
OOB: Smells like red wine. During cure smells like grapes
It seems lite in the soap right now.
Haven't made it the full 30 days to let you know exactly.
Don't use a SB with this.. use a Whisk and soap as cool as possible.
~~~~~

Tropical Fusion

OOB: coconuts & bananas-slightly floral.. not alot though.

Does A.. workable though.

Stir or whisk to trace. It smells okay to me in CP.

~~~~~
Pink Sugar
Good Scent.. Smells alot like SW. Will discolor to a dark brown, however you have lotsa playtime with it.
~~~~~

Hazelnut Coffee

Good Fragrance. Strong coffee. Less hazelnut outta bottle. Slightly sweet.

Slight A. Seems to have lost the hazelnut during soaping. It hasn't returned yet either.

Very strong coffee scent.

~~~~~
Sea Salt Scrub
Very clean fresh scent OOB. It's a bitch to soap.. seizes like crazy.. with a discount..
but i wanna try it again with a different recipe and full liquid. Does heat up. Does gell instantly!
~~~~~

Lilac

NICE. I like this one. It behaved better than some other Lilacs I have tried.

I would recommend full liquid, soaped cool and no SB.

You should have time to swirl it then.

It's a bit lighter in soap than I like, but we aren't at the 30 day cure yet either.

~~~~
Pear Vanilla
Great blend of the 2. Does D dark brown. Sounds stupid, but i can almost smell bananas in it OOB.
Soaped beautifully. Could do a 2 color swirl.
So far though the pear scent seems to have disappeared.
~~~~~

Patchouli

I don't like this one. Has a fuel like smell to me.

Has one when you soap it too.. wasn't sure i even wanted to pour it.

I much prefer my EO to this FO.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just soaped these:
Vanilla Sugar
OOB: nice sweet smell. can smell vanilla.
No A. Does discolor a bit when first poured. Lotsa playtime.
~~~~~

White Zinfandel

OOB: smells almost of bubblegum.. but with a hint of something

i can't figure out.

You could do 3 colors with this one.

It behaved beautifully.

~~~~~
Woodland Breezes
I love this one like the pumpkin cornbread.
It moves on ya, but you would still have some playtime depending on recipe.
It is a heater FO as well so soap as cool as possible!
More to come when i get the rest soaped.. which should be in a couple of hours!
Thanks so much SYR for your reviews. Just a note to everyone checking out the new site-we do have glitches :cheesy2: . We are fixing them as we find them. Just found one in the shipping calculator-if you check shipping and it seems wacky it probably is. LOL. Please bear with us. ~~~~~
Maple
very maply scent OOB. Not extremely sweet but a little bit.
Almost has a tea like scent to it.
Soaps perfectly. Plenty of playtime.
Can't really detect the maple right now,
but I am sure it will be there after the cure.
~~~~~

London Lemon Curd

OOB: Almost if not exact dupe of SW.

Soaps like a dream. Very strong lemon scent in soap.

~~~~~
Cucumber Mint
Nice scent. Can smell lotsa cucumber OOB, but not much mint.
Once in the soap the mint really comes alive.
Plenty of time for 3 or 4 color swirl iffin you wanted to.
~~~~~

Wild Rose

OOB: nice strong rose. Not sweet or granny like!

I was afraid to use a SB with this so i whisked it to trace.

Took approx 3 minutes.

You could probably SB til emulsyfied then whisk to trace and still have time for at least 2 colors.

~~~~~~
Twigs & Berries
OOB: can smell the berries with a musk like scent.
Smells kinda like a guys aftershave, but not sweet.
Behaved Perfectly. Lotsa playtime.
~~~~~

Victorian Fantasy

Good scent OOB. Floraly

Does A.. SB to emulsify, then whisk to trace.

Pumpkin Cornbread : Smells truly delish in CP soap!

You have time to work with it (color/swirl)

as long as you use the full water amount. It

does heat up pretty quick. So far there is only a

slight discoloration (tan) 12 hours out.

  • 1 month later...

These are all great oob. I have 6 left to test in CP soap. The best that I have tested are:

Sea Salt Scrub (did accelarate, but I will have to look to see if I used full water or not)

Blackberry Sage

Lemon Curd (no discoloration)

Pink Sugar

Victorian Fantasy (not too strong, just right)

Tropical Fusion

Lilac

The pumpkin cornbread smells yummy oob, but i haven't gotten a chance to test it yet. I definitely smell cornbread.

I am hoping to find some time really soon to test the rest of these. I also can't wait to see if they get any new ones in in the future.
