talie
I've been reading up on where to store your candles and everyone is recomending plastic containers or shoe boxes but that they have to have a "5" on the bottom? I'm just wondering why is that? I was just going to go and pick up any old tupperware, would this not work to store my candles and tarts? Jordan
Yes, you need to follow those instructions, as many plactics will absorb the scent of your candles! Not sure about tupperware, maybe somebody will jump in and let you know on that one....I get the plastic boxes at Walmart, and they are quite inexpensive. CandleCouture
What is the "5" supposed to signify?
mystical_angel1219
The number 5 is the grade or type of plastic used. Not all plastics are created equal when it comes to fragrance retention and storage.
