Gacela20
What is cream soap exactly? Can anyone give me a basic recipe for it? I saw a post somewhere with someone talking about allowing it to 'rot.' How long is that done for? Thanks in advance.
Bunny
It's more than a basic recipe, it's a whole different process! Go to yahoo groups and do a search for cream soap and request to join that group. There's a few recipies and a fantastic tutorial! I hate to point you in another direction, but feel with the information those girls have you'll more than likely get a lot more answers that most (not all) of the members here can provide. I'm hoping we get enough experienced members at this we eventually won't have to refer them there! Happy soaping!

AVD
I love cream soap. I agree with the yahoo group for info. I use it as a facial soap and a shaving soap. The process does take a while. You "rot" the cream soap in the same way you would cure cp/hp soap. Although even cp/hp can be used immediately, it is best to wait to use the cream soap until the rotting period is over. The other cool thing is you can add a bunch of additives like you would for lotions that makes it even better.

Bunny
Oh yeah! I'm loving playing with the different additives and recipes! Lbtddr - I plan on using it a few ways. One, a mechanics soap. I've got one currently with CP, but it's only stable for about a year. I know I can improve it with this! Also want to make a shaving soap in an airless pump bottle. No dippin required! Maybe even a facial soap, but it kinda scares me!
