stacien
I want to purchase some wicks for pillars. I prefer to do the wicking myself because I will not be using wick clips. So I would guess I would prefer to use either flat braided or square braided. Is there a difference. My goal is to mostly make 3" and 4" diameter pillars. With MC's vege based pillar blend and palm wax. Separately used of course.
geekrunner
My personal preference for pillars is a square braid. The flat braid bends to a point that makes it difficult for me to get centered right to burn straight down the middle.geek

stacien
Sheila, How do you do that. I know what geek is talking about. I was using just the wicks that came with the molds to try it out at least. It does burn to one side. Do you twist the wick while it is tied before pouring?
