heirloomoriginals Posted April 11, 2006 Share Posted April 11, 2006 I made some kitchen soap today. I didn't have E's original oils, so I used lard, olive, PKO, coconut and castor. It looked good on soapcalc. I used hazelnut coffee for my FO. I also had to sub some flax seed for the poppy seeds, since I didn't have any. I made a 1.5 lb batch. eugenia Posted April 11, 2006 Share Posted April 11, 2006 Steph, flax seeds are pretty big aren't they? I made some sandpaper soap with strawberry seedsa long ago, LOL. I still use them but I crush them with a mortar and pestal first. Weird how things that look small feel HUGE on your skin.I love kitchen soap!
