Shipping Internationally - FedEx

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone! I have a quick question about international shipping. I received an order from England (I'm in Oregon). The customer gave me a FedEx account number for me to charge the shipping costs to. But I've never shipped internationally before.

Does anyone frequently ship internationally using FedEx? If so, please respond or email me privately. I have lots of questions and I'm not finding the answers on www.fedex.com.

I'd appreaciate any help you can offer.

I ship internationally but I us USPS. It ends up being cheaper for the customer alot of times in the end. Make sure to check on Brokage fees and such if you are shipping with FED Ex. Alot of times Fed Ex, UPS, and DHL you or the customer will have to pay some sort of brokage fee to ship international. USPS has all those fees included. So there is no hidden charges. I believe with USPS you can ship up to 40 pounds of product at a time.

Yes, it is soooo much cheaper to ship via USPS than UPS or others of kind. I live in Estonia and order my fragrances from US. I ask to ship USPS Global Express Mail and it reaches me within a week or so. Of course if they need it reallyreally fast then UPS or DHL or Fedex probably will be quicker, but for me a week is just fine.
