izzy2
Will UV inhibitor help candles from fading even if they aren't exposed to ultraviolet light? I have some votives that are fading in colour and they have been in the cupboard for months now. I also made a container candle and it faded when I burned it and it was only a week or two old (it was never exposed either).
topofmurrayhill
All dyes fade in response to heat or just over time. You might want to try different dyes to see if you can find something more stable. If they are fading in the dark then UV inhibitor won't help. Scented
uv doesn't prohibit the fading, but slows it down. If you haven't added it all, you might give it a try to see if it helps.
