tx twister
OK, thanks for the input re soy vs. palm wax. I want to support the Am. farmer, but where do I begin? After reading on these diff. waxes, I can't decide which will give me the best results! Any clues? Appreciate your help.
Candle Man
Your best bet is to buy samples and test, that way you know what you like & dislike and what will work for you. That's what I did and most of the rest here too.
iammommytwo
May I first suggest that you find out which suppliers are the closest to you. That will keep your shipping costs down. Then purchase a small amt of a few different kinds to "test" and see what performs best for you, and gives you the results you are looking for.HTH
KFTS
I'm figuring by your posting name you're in Texas, Cargill soy is pretty widely available here. Also EZ soy is at BCS.
Kaybee23
I'm figuring by your posting name you're in Texas, Cargill soy is pretty widely available here. Also EZ soy is at BCS.I agree, Cargill C3 I know Lonestar and Taylored Concepts both carry it, as does AAA Candle Supply (almost next door to Taylored Concepts). And as mentioned BCS carries EZ Soy (equivilant to GB 415 wax) as well as Ecosoya. Wickswares also carries many of the Ecosoy waxes. I did not care for the C3, but that is my opinion, and I think it is best to get samples and try them all out for yourself before making a decision. We are lucky that we have many suppliers here to choose from.
