  1. Propay was taking 5 days to get to my checking acct. A while back, someone posted another credit card service out there that was quicker and cheaper. Please, who are they? Need this ASAP, I have an order pending. Thanks for the help.
  2. I have a dumb question I only do MP once in awhile, mainly candles, but explain how you use this stuff? It looks awesome! I just might have to purchase some from you.
  3. Does anyone have info/suggestion on getting in touch with Buyers for my products? Need to get in small gift shops, boutiques and bridal stores. Any help would be appreciated. What are their costs for doing this? Thanks.
  4. OK, been making t's for 3-4 yrs, they typically burn 4-6 hrs. Had someone call today asking for an 8 hr tea light. I did see someone's site about a 1" tall t made with beeswax. Know where to get these large cups? Thanks.
  5. Does anyone here make ear candles? My grandson is having such a prob with ear infections, and I see videos etc on how to make them, but has anyone here made these before? Would love to try them if not too difficult. Thanks for your input.
  6. Hi everyone, OK I finally decided to do the spicket on my pots, only thing is, Home Depot & Sears doesn't carry the 19/32" drill bit or thread tap to match. I could use some help here! Could someone PLEASE tell me where to find these. I'd really appreciate your help! :highfive:
  7. I made several double layered mottled pillars and can't get out of molds, even in frig and freezer! PLEASE Help! Thanks.
  8. Yes, I use them in my 2 and 3" pillars. I love them. They stand up and don't fall over. Burn almost perfectly! More people should use them. But I'm having a prob getting double layered mottled pillar out of mold. Any help there? Already tried frig and freezer. Thanks.
  9. Hi, I've heard of using transpariencies, but not water sol. paper. Could you tell us where you purchased the paper? Beautiful soap! Thanks.
  10. OK, I used IGI 1343, 3/4 oz frag., 2 TBL stearic & a bit of UV and poured into alum mold at 185. Covered with box for about 4 hrs., did repour twice. This AM, I pulled it out and it was a beautiful slick candle! No mottled. What did I do wrong? Thanks for your help.
  11. Your candles are awesome and so are Bruces. How can I try my hand at this? Are there any instructions out there? I'd love to try it just for the sake of trying. I've wnted to do this for years. Keep up the good work!
  12. I was on a site today that had AWESOME pillars. Not like any I've ever seen (or done.) They might have been lighter colored chunks and darker overpour But they had a crackled appearance - just beautiful! I'd love to learn how to do this. Can someone help me? Thanks.
  13. Hi, I use Propay at shows or selling in person. Is it them or are they all alike? It takes 2-3 days for money to show up in my Propay acct. and then another 3-4 days to get to my ch. acct. I think this is entirely too long! I need to buy supplies! Does anyone out there have any better solutions? I'd love to hear from you. Appreciate it!
  14. I think it looks great! Would you mind telling me where you got the wax coffee beans? I wanted to do something like this on my pillars. Thanks!
  15. Since I've moved my candlemaking to another room with window AC, having probs with repours. So, I'm now doing 2 repours to make them smooth. Well last night I didn't do them, so did them this AM. As soon as I repoured the 2nd time, I had tiny bubble looking stuff all over the sides of the candle. I only repoured up to the prev. line. Could this be because I waited too long, wax too cold/hot or what? Also having prob with Vanilla candles after they sit for few wks, looks like "pit" marks on the side. I pour at 165, repour at 170. Too much oil 3/4 oz. IGI 4786 or are they from the sweat spots? Geez!:undecided
  16. Hi, its been a while since I've visited. Help! I can't find it! About 6 mos. ago I saved a site that had a manual soap wrapping machine (maybe it helps cut the stretch wrap ?) for about $165. For the life of me I can't find it now. Does anyone know about this one? Please help. Thanks so much.
  17. Hi, I just had to ask, your teas are so flat & smooth, is this because of using Soy or are you doing a repour on those babies? I do paraffin, but I always get a little ridge around the outer edge and I don't do repours!
  18. Yes, I use the double and the single EZ wick setter, both work great! Won't wick a jar without them now. You've got to try it! No more second guessing yourself. And have you tried the wick centering tool for the tops of the jars? Just tried mine last week and its great, no more babysitting the wicks. The holes in the tops match the holes in the EZ wick setter tool, so wherever you place the wicks in the bottom of the jar (this means the double wick too), the tops will match. Try it!
  19. I do alot of seascapes. Try pouring in layers. Then as you're getting closer to the top, use a pr. of tongs (small ones something like a dentist would use, mine came with my serger) pick up a glass fish and heat it with your heat gun and then insert about half of the fish in the gel. Then pour your next layer and do same. Works great! (I make the tea light insert on the top.)
  20. OK, thanks for the input re soy vs. palm wax. I want to support the Am. farmer, but where do I begin? After reading on these diff. waxes, I can't decide which will give me the best results! Any clues? Appreciate your help.
  21. Hi, just curious, I see ads with Soy Candles telling you that you are supporting the American Farmer. What about Palm wax? Who am I supporting with this wax? Would love the feed back. Thanks.
  22. Wow, what beautiful hurricanes! One day I'll get the nerve up to try those. Sure would appreciate your input on making those. Keep up the good work.
  23. Hi Cathy, don't despair! Plenty out there. Here are just a few I use. gelembeds.safeshopper.com, gelstuff.com, gelsupplies.net, geltyme.com, silkytyme.com and wixnwax.com. I'm sure I have more if you need them. Best wishes with your new suppliers.
  24. OMG, its beautiful. I remember seeing that much earlier on the board. I have horses and would love to give that a try. Please tell us how you got the layered wax at angles like you did. Did you just splash it? Did you pour into cold mold? Did you use chunks? It looks so natural. Thanks for sharing.
