topofmurrayhill
Purportedly CD and HTP wicks burn the hottest, which would make them best for hard to burn waxes like veggies and the more viscous container blends. I don't know how the flame temperature compares but I find that ECO works well in those applications too. According to Wicks Unlimited they also have the paper filament in them so I guess they are the Wedo equivalent of CD and HTP.There are fewer sizes of ECO and they are farther apart, especially at the low end of the range.I'm not sure that any of those wicks would be more specially suited to your application than another, but of course there will be performance differences if you feel like experimenting. Beth-VT
Eco's...by number anyway. I've used the Eco's for a couple years and love them. For example, and Eco-12 is about equal to a CD-16. I'm trying some double wicking on apothecary's, and (2) Eco-2's are about the same as (2) CD-10's. HTH.Also, the Eco's mushroom much less than CD's.
