wicking flower pot votive

Recommended Posts

I've tried a 51 & 60 zinc. no luck. isn't the 44 a small wick?

Do you mean that you tried these two wicks and didn't get a full melt pool? Because I think that the 51 and 60 wicks are way too large for a flowerpot votive.

The 44 wick is smaller than the 51 and 60 and should work fine in these candles. I used a 44 in these with very little hangup. What hangup there was would clean up on future burns.

Yah, a 51 and/or 60 are waaay too big for this flower pot, wasn't it smokin' on you????

To the others using the "44z's" WHICH 44z? 44-24 or 44-28?? To me there is a difference, and whenever someone says they are just using a 44z I'm always wondering this???

I used the 44-32 when I was playing around with these because it was all I had on hand. Haven't tried the other 44 wicks in a flowerpot.
