Landa
Mine were hard as bricks. I dropped some I made months ago and nothing happened to it LOL
Synascents
Well, gonna test these later on this eve and see if they are to do what they are supposed to do!And yep, mine are that hard!
maryann
They turned out nice... I think it depends on the butter you use. How much harder were they than mine?? Mine always come out the same :undecided fairly soft. Did you scent them?
mountainmadness
Yours are really white compared to mine... Are those really bath melts or bath bombs? They do look nice.....
Grannyscandles
the do look like bombs not melts...hmmm
Bunny
Synascents, I prefer the mini muffin pans for these. The on you have pictured on the right looks like a 1/2 bath bomb mold. If so, that's gonna be WAY too much. I don't use more than 1/2 oz at a time. Just score the back and break off a tich. More is only better with ice cream, not with bath melts. They do look beautiful though!
Synascents
Bunny,Thank You, I will def try it that way next time!*S*mountainmadnessActually, they are a light purple, but with the flash of my digi cam, the pic came out white.maryanngirl, they are way harder than yours..believe me!*L*Well, back to the drawing board, gonna make one thing and something else turns out! Only me can do that!~*laughingThank you everyone for the input and the compliments..will def try the recipe again and again!
maryann
soooooo how did they work in the tub?? I wonder why yours are so much harder?? What butters did you use and did you add or use more of one ingred? Tell me your secrets, I luv how they turned out!
Synascents
maryannTalk about fizz!I dropped one of the 1/2 spheres in the tub after running the water and it fizzed away! Really did it's job!So, I guess instead of a bathmelt, it's a bath bomb!*laughing*But used the bath melt recipe..~*shakes my head in confusion*~I'll def try the recipe again...and recheck it with what I did write down and what was on the screen!*S*
