Guest DeeDee
I've tried making bath bombs- but not with Turkey Red Oil or SLSA. I'd like them to be less greasy and I want to try bubbling ones. From what I understand, I need these ingredients- I think. Can someone point me in the right direction to order some? Also, is there anyplace that you can order both from? Thank you. Ann M
I bought my TRO from Bubbles n' Lights, but they are now closed or taken over by Bittercreek. Anyway, I am not fond of TRO. It has a very odd scent. To me it is like motor oil. When I first used it in bath bomb and bubbling bath bombs, it didn't bother me, but then I tried it in a few other bubbling bath melts and bath syrup and could not get the scent covered up. I think I bought by SLSA from Kangaroo Blue. I love bubbling bath products and hope next time to try just a light oil or even cocoa butter. TRO is just not for me.Ann
maryann
I got my SLSa from the Chemistry Store. See this thread http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16663 towards the bottom Robin clarifies SLSa, SLS, and SLES.
Gene
I got my SLSa from the Chemistry Store. Wear a mask when working with it, it has fine dust which can be a respiratory irritant
Secret Buddy 4 U
That's no kidding on the SLSa. I found that the chemistry store and mms both have the same prices and those were the best I could find.
