awickedscent
When making bath bombs do you prefer making them with an oil or witch hazle? Have you heard anyone saying they prefer one to the other?
elle110
I have made them both ways and will not use anything now but castor oil, the witch hazel causes them to start fizzing. I also put a little shea butter in them as well but in the middle of the bomb. IMO, bath bombs were not meant to have liquid until tossed in the bath tub. The set up so nice with the castor, and the castor works better than most other oils.HTHElle
Sara
Oil for me. I had way too many problems with my witch hazel.
Michelle at WW
I'm also an oil girl. Sweet Almond, some melted cocoa butter...Michelle
mystical_angel1219
Oil all the way. Witch Hazel is the common denominator for the growing, exploding, crazy looking bath bombs. Well at least with my experience.
