epheme
I brought my line of six perfumes in, and was wearing a vanilla bean noel I'd made for myself. Wouldn't you know that was the one they want? Everyone said it smelled like a bakery.
Scented
oh man VBN is absolutely delicious!! LOL! I'm testing it and pouring it now. I put it in some dry milk bubble bath stuff and it smells good. I don't think the 2 lbs of it I have are going to last very long. I wanted a vanilla stabilizer to add to it, because it wouldn't be as delicious looking like brown soap IMO lol!
Meredith_D
because it wouldn't be as delicious looking like brown soap IMO lol!Brown soap sounds like an oxymoron. LOL
Sharon in KY
I hate brown soap.... Does the Vanilla Stabilizer only work in M&P? I just made some of the whipped soap I had, wonder if it would turn brown? I have several bottles of the stabilizer cause WSP use to have it as a gift when you ordered so much. Those were the good old days.
Bunny
It doesn't work in CP or HP..
Scented
Don't say that Bun! I want a white bar (I never thought I would say that lol)
epheme
are customers so turned off by a brown bar of soap? even if you tell them that ALL vanilla's are turned brown by some chemical reaction?
Scented
Who knows lol! It's me who is turned off by brown, but if it's unavoidable then I'll have to find a way to deal with it.
Sharon in KY
Same here it's me and it turns my wash cloth brown. I don't think everyone is like that and I could stand a chocolate bar to be brown. Maybe I should get brown wash cloths and forget it. Because I love anything Vanillaeeeeee. Carol M
The stabilizer is supposed to work for hp. I made a Pink Sugar soap with it and it never browned. I did use a little goat's milk, though, so the plain, uncolored portion is sort of darker ivory in color. I plan to make another batch when I can, sort of as a "control batch". I will leave out the goat's milk and fragrance half with the stabilized PS oil and half with the untreated oil, just to see how "white" and "brown" it will be. That will give a better idea as to exactly how well the product works.

cindym
I don't have any problems selling Vanilla soap. The OMH will go brown also but people love the scent.
