Denise06
Hello, I made some soy candles last summer, when I went to look at them last night, they look funny looking. The top of them are white crystalized and are not smooth like when I first made them. What did I do wrong with them and what happened? Thank you. Any advice is welcomed. geekrunner
Welcome to the board but we need more info! What kind of wax and ingredients did you use?Is it a container or a pillar?Have you burned it yet?Have you made any others since then that don't look the same? What color is it?What is your grandma's middle name? Seriously, we need more info on it before we can really know what it might be for sure. Don't be afraid to use the Search function and the FAQ section. BTW we do like noobs!geek

Kaybee23
Sounds like frosting to me as well. It looks like little white patches on your candle? There is a product called Frostop, haven't used it, not sure how well it does, or you could try adding a little beeswax, that helps some. It doesn't bother some people and it doesn't affect the burning of the candle. It is just a cosmetic thing.
